We hired Atlas General Construction for the construction of a new addition as well as a full remodel of our existing house in Woodside, and we had a great experience from start to finish. Bill and his team were honest, responsive, and very involved throughout the project. They helped coordinate the structural work, framing, permits, inspections, interior remodeling, exterior improvements, and finish details. What we appreciated most was their clear communication and the way they explained each phase of the project so we always understood what was happening and what to expect next.

We recently completed a major home renovation project with Atlas General Construction, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the overall experience and results. Our project involved adding a new bedroom, bathroom, closet, and an exterior carport. Also relocating existing kitchen and converting garage into living space.From start to finish, the entire team demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong communication.

From the very beginning, the front office team made a great impression. Ashley was incredibly helpful in organizing everything—she created a WhatsApp group for seamless communication and coordinated appointments and meetings with ease. Rose was equally efficient, handling city appointments, payment schedules, and invoices promptly and without any confusion.

A special mention goes to Eric, the project manager. Once he took over the project, everything ran very smoothly. Eric is extremely reliable, detail-oriented, and professional. One of his standout qualities is his ability to truly listen—he remembers even small details discussed and ensures they are implemented correctly. His communication with us throughout the project was excellent, and he managed everything with clarity and confidence.

Murat also played an important role by assisting with PG&E appointments and inspections, helping move things forward without delays.

We would also like to sincerely appreciate Mr. Bill. He is calm, composed, and highly experienced. Whenever challenges arose—especially with city-related issues—he handled them patiently and professionally. What stood out the most was his cooperative nature. Even when we requested changes during the project, he was very accommodating and solution-oriented. It’s clear that he prioritizes customer satisfaction over simply focusing on costs.

We hired Atlas General Construction for a large project, adding a 2nd floor and completely renovating the 1st floor. It was a complex, year-long project with a lot of infrastructure upgrades  needed such as completely new plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

It has been a few months since we moved back in and we are completely satisfied with how everything has turned out, especially the finishes and detailing.

We could tell Bill genuinely cares about the quality of the project, not just getting it done. And he's a genuinely good person who believes in keeping customers happy. Atlas' project manager Eric Rosales was very strong in execution and took pride in getting the details right without mistakes. Bill and Eric have a solid team of trades people, painters, carpenters etc. The Atlas back-office team was also of top of everything, clearly communicating payment schedules, invoices etc.

Complex projects are never without challenges. Ours had its share of challenges too but the Atlas team was able to solve problems as they arose and if at all a mistake was made, it was quickly fixed when we pointed it out. We hired Atlas General Construction to renovate our kitchen. This was our first major home project, so we wanted a contractor who could guide us through the process.

Our project manager was Erick. He explained options clearly and helped us think through tradeoffs. I appreciated his suggestions throughout the project, including the decision to replace the windows. That change was not something we had planned, but it made a real difference in the finished space.

The crew was well staffed and productive. When they were on site, progress was steady and visible. The team also handled uncertainty well. At the start, it was not clear how the kitchen exhaust hood would be vented. They worked through the constraints and found a solution that significantly improved airflow and met code.

If we raised a concern or felt something missed the mark, it was addressed quickly. Change orders felt fair and were discussed before work moved forward. The project passed San Francisco city inspection on the first visit, which gave us confidence in the quality of the work.
